In our warehouses we offer a combination of bulk stacking, conventional racking, VNA high bay racking, outside storage, trailer storage and mobile stillages, enabling us to maximise storage space utilisation and flexibility for our customers.

Mobile ramps and unloading platforms are used to load and unload containers quickly and efficiently.  We use the  latest state of the art equipment such as counter balance and reach fork lift trucks, cranes, platform lifts (self propelled boom lifts), computer guided VNAs and JCB telescopic handlers. Warehouse staff are all experienced and highly trained in handling products of various sizes and complexity.

Occupancy of the warehouse can be on a shared user basis or as a dedicated facility where we provide dedicated staff and equipment.  A core storage area can be provided with the ability to flex in additional storage as required.

Inventory Management

You can outsource your entire Inventory Management to C S Ellis.  With the aid of our advanced in-house IT systems C S Ellis offers custom-made solutions.  Our stock management system enables you to check and minimise your stock with ease.  Goods received are processed quickly and our perpetual inventory system means you will never miss an order.

C S Ellis has its own highly advanced in house IT infrastructure which enables us to develop our ERP systems to meet the individual needs and requirements of our customer base.  If required, customers can outsource their entire Inventory Management to C S Ellis with as much or as little customer input as required.

C S Ellis Warehouse Management Systems also offer the ability to link to customers ERP/MRP systems with the use of auto generated flat files, which can be both uploaded and downloaded from our system with the aid of our online ftp site.  This enables C S Ellis to produce real time stock holding, goods received, added value, daily/weekly order completion and order picking reports, allowing our customer to check and maintain stock levels with relative ease, whilst monitoring all order and stock activity within our warehousing and transport operations.

This functionality also gives the ability for our customers to generate all of their orders and, if required, goods received through export files sent directly from their own IT systems, creating large time and cost savings for the individual customer whilst eliminating the possibility of manual input errors by the customer or C S Ellis staff.       C S Ellis can also tailor its generated paper work, including delivery notes, invoices etc to mirror customer paperwork, again reducing customer cost whilst increasing efficiency.

The C S Ellis IT department works closely with all our major warehousing customers to develop their IT requirements on a variety of levels from full inventory management to direct links with on-line sales sites and even real time on-line signature capture with GPS location on goods delivered through our transport operations.
